Ardington under 11's entertained Summertown at Home on Friday evening, and with only two games remaining in the league the result was crucial as to where the title could or could not go.
The game began with several opportunities going Ardingtons way but the final ball each time was either going too quickly or away from the forwards. It wasn't until the ball was switched to the left for Matheo Charrier to score a great left foot shot that we saw Ardington take a 1-0 lead at half time.
The second half saw a more relaxed side and a performance which reflected their top of the league status with more goals from Kieran Kirby, Joe Herbert and Taylor Bloomfield and also another from Matheo Charrier which gave Ardington a 5-0 victory.
