Evelyn Brown, 45, of Wessex Road, Didcot, admitted failing to notify a change in circumstances, that she was working, in relation to claiming Jobseekers’ Allowance between Febraury and August 2010. Given a 12-month conditional discharge.

Tomasz Lach, 36, of Horspath Road, Oxford, convicted of assault by beating in Oxford on November 20. Fined £250, £125 compensation, £15 victims’ surcharge and £150 costs.

Seghir Abdelghani, 33, of no fixed address, admitted shoplifting four digi boxes valued at £79.88 from Tesco in Abingdon on February 22 and commission of another offence while subject to a conditional discharge. Fined £100 and a £15 victims’ surcharge.

Angela Jones, 43, of Barns Road, Oxford, admitted using threatening words or behaviour to cause harassment, alarm or distress in Oxford on February 9 and commission of another offence while subject to a conditional discharge. Original offence of using threatening words or behaviour to cause harassment, alarm or distress in Oxford on July 22 resentenced. Given an 18-month conditional discharge.

Mark Nixon, 51, of Wellington Street, Thame, admitted shoplifting a £4.99 bottle of red wine from Sainsbury’s in Thame on January 15. One other offence taken into consideration. Fined £70, £15 victims’ surcharge, £85 costs and £10.09 compensation.

Hajji Noor, 36, of Shelley Road, Oxford, admitted sending a communication or article of an indecent or offensive nature on August 13. Given a 12-month conditional discharge and told to pay £85 costs.

Thomas Lillis, 71, of Divinity Road, Oxford, admitted harrassment/breach of a restraining order in Oxford on February 12. Given a one-month 7pm to 6am curfew and told to pay £40 costs.

Adam Fitzgerald, 33, of Spencer Crescent, Oxford, admitted drink driving in Between Towns Road and Church Hill Road, Oxford, on February 9. Namely having 72 microgrammes of alcohol in 100ml of breath, above the legal limit of 35 microgrammes. Fined £200, a £15 victims’ surcharge and £85 costs. Banned from driving for 18 months.

Christopher Wain, 33, of Richens Drive, Carterton, admitted attempted theft of a boiler valued at £635 from Wickes in Botley Road, Oxford. Given an 18-month conditional discharge and told to pay £85 costs.

Gordon McKay, 36, of Craufurd Road, Oxford, convicted of shoplifting food valued at about £250 from BP Express in Oxford on October 5. Admitted shoplifting £6.87 of wine and food from Sainsbury’s in Oxford on December 16; shoplifting £58.68 of food and alcohol from Family Farm Services in Weston-on-the-Green on October 30; shoplifting meat and nappies worth £64 from the same location on November 11; possession of pepper spray in Oxford on November 13 and driving while disqualified on the same date in Berry Close, Oxford. Jailed for 12 weeks and banned from driving for a year.

Paul Reynolds, 31, of no fixed address, admitted burglary of food valued at £3.65 from a dwelling in Albert Street, Oxford, on January 26. Given a six-month drug-rehabilitation requirement.

Jason Agutter, 40, of Luther Street, Oxford, admitted shoplifting aftershave valued at £113 from Debenhams in Oxford on October 15. Given a six-month drug-rehabilitation requirement.

Damien Le Bret, 29, of Cowley Road, Oxford, admitted assault by beating in Oxford on September 21. Given 12 months’ supervision with 100 hours’ unpaid work and told to pay £50 costs.

George O’Donohue, 29, of Samuelson Court, Banbury, admitted assault causing actual bodily harm in Abingdon on January 13. Given two years’ supervision, told to participate in a Community Domestic Violence Programme and to pay £85 costs.

Michael Gallagher, 30, of Millers Acre, Oxford, admitted failing to attend a follow-up drug assessment on November 15. Told to pay £100 costs and given a 12-month conditional discharge.

Craig Ralphs, 34, of North Way, Oxford, admitted burglary of a bottle of wine from Tesco Express in Oxford on December 23; using words or behaviour to cause a fear of unlawful violence on December 23 and burglary of Christ Church, Oxford, on December 23. Two other offences taken into consideration. Jailed for four months.

Callum Exler, 22, of Buttercup Square, Oxford, admitted aggravated vehicle taking, driving without insurance and driving without a licence in Oxford on June 19. Given a six-week curfew, banned from driving for a year and told to pay £250 compensation and £50 costs.

Justin Flynn, 31, of Hundred Acre Close, Oxford, admitted assault by beating, using threatening words or behaviour to cause harassment, alarm or distress and commission of another offence while subject to a conditional discharge on December 27 in Oxford. Original offence of criminal damage resentenced. Given a six-month exclusion requirement from Rileys Pool and Snooker Club, Between Towns Road, Oxford, and 12 months’ supervision. Fined £600 and a £15 victims’ surcharge.

Robert Stevens, 51, of Stanford-le-Hope, admitted driving without due care and attention in Headington Road, Oxford, on October 6. Fined £220, £15 victims’ surcharge and £85 costs. Given five penalty points.
