SCALES OF JUSTICE: People convicted at Didcot Magistrates' Court

Joanne Lloyd, 30, of Luther Street, Oxford, admitted shoplifting three bottles of wine and assorted confectionery valued at £17.69 from Sainsbury’s supermarket in Oxford on January 29. Also admitted committing another offence while subject to a conditional discharge. Original offences of two shoplifting charges resentenced. Fined £75 and ordered to pay a £15 victims’ surcharge.

Alan Jenson, 49, of Warpsgrove Lane, Chalgrove, convicted of possessing an unloaded air rifle in a public place at Cockroft Road, Didcot, on June 3 last year. Given a conditional discharge for 12 months and ordered to pay £250 in costs.
