Sir – We noted the article Dismay as city’s station gets rid of its parking system (Report, March 10), which outlined that Didcot Parkway and Charlbury are changing from the RingGo system.

RingGo is a system that we use at our stations, including Banbury, Haddenham, Thame Parkway and Bicester North and we know that our passengers enjoy how simple and easy it is to use.

Regular train users, in particular, appreciate the speed and flexibility of using it. We’d like to reassure our passengers that we are continuing to use this and doing what we can to make parking as easy as possible at our stations.
