A crash this evening closed the northbound M40 in Oxfordshire.
The accident, in which a vehicle overturned, closed the carriageway between junction 8A near Wheatley and junction 9 near Wendlebury.
The crash happened on a stretch of road which has been affected all day by repairs to a 200-metre stretch of barriers damaged in an earlier crash.
Meanwhile, Kingston Hill, Stokenchurch, was closed due to a crash involving several vehicles on the A40 Oxford Road. Police say that the road is fully closed in both directions for recovery.
