THE Prime Minister is reported to have said that our country has failed to have a proper debate on how we can make society stronger and give people more power.

But there has been no more serious issue in recent years than the question of whether we should be a member of the European Union.

Then there is the issue of foreign aid. India has a bigger economy than Britain’s. It has a £790m space programme, a fully operational aircraft carrier, and nuclear weapons. Unbelievably, however, Britain is contributing more than a billion pounds in aid.

Total worldwide UK ring-fenced aid was £5.5 billion in 2010, rising to £7.5 billion this year.

It looks as if there is a plan to well and truly economically paralyse this country by any means necessary.

And with cutting our defences to the bone and overwhelming immigration, it’s all starting to become very clear.

If Mr Cameron wants to put his words into practice, we ask once again, where, in the interests of democracy, are the referenda on these important issues?

Many pledges and promises made before the General Election have either been ignored or simply swept under the carpet since.

Put it to the people in the proper manner. What is there to hide?
