A man has been arrested in connection with yesterday’s bomb hoax at Oxford Railway Station.
Shortly after 11am a 999 caller claimed that a man carrying an explosive device was heading towards the station, sparking a large-scale police operation involving the helicopter and sniffer dogs.
It later turned out to be a hoax.
The man, in his 30s, is currently in police custody.
More to follow.
