NINE people were still being questioned last night and others were bailed and cautioned after police targeted a suspected drugs ring.
Tens of thousands of pounds of cannabis and cocaine was believed to have been seized by officers in 22 raids during the operation on Tuesday, which saw 250 officers scour homes, businesses and garages across Oxfordshire and into Buckinghamshire.
Those bailed included a woman, 28, arrested in Headington on suspicion of being concerned in the supply of class A drugs and money laundering; in Holton, a woman, 51, was arrested on suspicion of permitting premises to be used to supply controlled drugs; in Yarnton, a man, 43, was arrested on suspicion of possession with intent to supply class A and class B drugs; in Wootton, near Abingdon, a man, 42, was arrested on suspicion of possession of a firearm and possession of class B drugs, and a woman, 42, was arrested in Radcliffe Road, Oxford, on suspicion of conspiracy to supply drugs and money laundering.
Three people arrested in Oxford on suspicion of possession of class A and B drugs were cautioned.
