Police are appealing for information after a 16-year-old boy was assaulted in Bicester.
At approximately 7.50pm on Friday, the 16-year-old victim was using the cash machine at Tesco in Holm Square, when a man walked up to him and punched him several times in the face before walking off.
The man is described as white, about 5ft 6ins tall, in his early twenties, with a stocky build and possibly short dark hair.
He was wearing a grey and black hooded top with the hood up.
PC Evonne Beckett said: “This assault was completely unprovoked and happened at a time when there would have been a lot people around who would have seen what happened.
“I would urge these people to come forward and speak to me as soon as possible. Perhaps you saw where the man went? Maybe you saw him getting into a vehicle?”
Anyone with information should contact PC Beckett via the 24-hour Thames Valley Police Enquiry Line on 0845 8 505 505. Alternatively, you can contact the Crimestoppers charity anonymously on 0800 555 111.
