HEALTH officials need to explore why there has been such a seemingly poor take-up of a £3.4m fund for last-chance cancer drugs.
Other areas have had far more success allocating their cash but it is pointless the Government putting aside a pot if it doesn’t do any good.
If there is a lack of awareness or the system to apply is too hard then this needs identifying and addressing.
