Police are appealing for witnesses to a collision in Radley in which a woman was seriously injured.
At about 4.30pm yesterday, a pedestrian was struck by a white, sign-written Mercedes Vito van in Kennington Road at the junction with Pebble Hill.
The 63-year-old woman pedestrian suffered serious injuries to her head and pelvis and remains in a critical condition in the John Radcliffe Hospital, Oxford.
The van driver was spoken to at the scene.
Police said the road was closed for just over three hours for scene preservation and forensic collision investigation.
