A 54-YEAR-OLD man has been charged following the death of teenage cyclist Tom Kahl.
Jonathon Ashworth, from Shipton-on-Cherwell, was charged with causing death by careless driving while over the prescribed limit, causing death by careless driving while unlicensed and causing death by careless driving while uninsured.
Ashworth was also charged with driving while uninsured and unlicensed in an unconnected incident on August 10.
Mr Kahl, 18, of Yarnton Road, Kidlington, died on July 10 last year on the A4260 at Thrupp.
He was riding with four friends.
Ashworth was released on bail to appear at Banbury Magistrates’ Court on Monday, February 21.
