QUIZZICAL pub goers raised a glass and tested their grey matter in aid of an East Oxford charity.
People going to the weekly quiz at The Cape of Good Hope have made 1,000 £1 pledges for mental health charity Oxfordshire Mind.
The Tuesday night quiz, called the Caped Crusade, tests teams on anything ranging from how high goats jump to 1980s pop music. The £1,000 raised will be donated to The Mill, an art gallery in Cowley Road run by the charity.
Quiz master and pub assistant manager Laura Blades, pictured with Mark Magee from The Mill, said: “We saved it over a couple of months, got to £1,000 and chose The Mill because it’s a local charity. Mind is a very good charity because it helps all kinds of people.”
