An 83-year-old man has been charged with sexual offences against a child in connection with incidents that occurred in the 1980s.
Alfred Cooper, of Dorchester on Thames, has been charged with five counts of indecent assault on a child under 14 and five counts of gross indecency with a child under 16.
The incidents are alleged to have occurred in the Berinsfield and Drayton St Leonard areas of Oxfordshire between 1980 and 1985 when Cooper worked as a postman in the area.
Cooper has been bailed to appear at Didcot Magistrates’ Court on February 16.
