Police are appealing for information after a 17-year-old boy was assaulted in Banbury.
The boy was walking along an alley between Prescott Close and Mold Crescent shortly after 1pm on Friday, when he became involved in an altercation with a man.
The man then assaulted the boy as he walked away from the scene, continuing the assault as he turned on to The Fairway.
PC Rebecca Smith said: “I would like to speak to anyone who was in the area who saw or heard anything, or anyone who has any information about this incident.
“I would particularly like to speak to a man who stopped in his car while driving along The Fairway, who interrupted the assault.”
