SIR Jonathan Michael, the chief executive of the Oxford Radcliffe Hospitals Trust, has pledged he and his staff will improve their service.
The vow comes after the Care Quality Commission failed the trust in four areas after a recent inspection. The trust says it has filled (or is about to) the majority of its vacancies and that is positive.
But the question remains why our hospitals were allowed to get to this point in the first place.
