A VILLAGE’S eighth literary festival will take place on the weekend of March 12 and 13 at the church and village hall.
Guest speakers at Kings Sutton, near Banbury, over the weekend include Peter Hennessy, author of The Secret State, and actress Maggie Ollerenshaw who played Mavis in Last of the Summer Wine. There will also be a short story competition and art exhibition.
The event marks the 400th anniversary of the King James’ Bible with a reading of St Mark’s Gospel by village vicar Father Roger Bellamy on the Friday.
