The Oxford Mail recently quoted a spokesman saying that the post was back to normal.
Really? I had a Christmas card which was posted in Birmingham on December 18, which arrived last week – while I was still waiting for a card from a cousin in Hemel Hempstead.
It’s no record, I know, but it leaves no doubt that the PO is in a poor state.
