A 24-year-old man was jailed for 18 weeks by Oxford magistrates on Thursday after admitting stealing fuel.
Karl Barrett, of Old Abingdon Road, Oxford, was charged with three counts of making off without payment of fuel worth £369, driving while disqualified and using a vehicle without insurance.
Barrett was also disqualified from driving for 18 months after being arrested in Chislehampton on Wednesday.
A 48-year-old man and a 33-year-old were arrested at the same time on suspicion of theft of a motor vehicle and making off with fuel without payment and were bailed until March 1.
