Oxford Ice Rink is to reopen following a major refurbishment.
The rink, in Oxpens Road, will be reopened on Wednesday by Barbara Gatehouse, who, as a city councillor, opened the rink 26 years ago.
More than £700,000 has been spent on the rink, with most of the money going on a new refrigeration unit.
Changing and shower facilities have also been upgraded, a new rink barrier built, rubber matting laid throughout and new boilers installed.
