MEMBERS of Oxford Central Townswomen’s Guild always struck lucky with the weather when they held their garden party.
The sun shone on the first two – and the third, on the lawn of Frewin Hall, Oxford, in 1968 was no exception.
Attractions included entertainment from Take Three, a folk group formed by three Oxford schoolgirls, competitions and stalls selling everything from aprons to home-made cakes.
