A FARMER has put up a £5,000 reward to catch thieves who stole £10,000 of equipment from his small holding.
Burglars targeted Derek Turner’s site off Blackthorn Road, near Launton, last week.
During the burglary thieves chopped off part of a goat’s horn with an axe.
The gang also stole Mr Turner’s Iveco tipper lorry that had been parked at the site, £3,000-worth of steel and tools and diesel.
Mr Turner said: “I have put up a £5,000 reward for information leading to a successful prosecution of these thieves.
“These people are spoiling my life.
“I wake up at 4am and think they are back at the site. These people keep coming back.
“I’m sure it’s the same people who burgled me this time as the last.”
Mr Turner said his small holding had been targeted six times in the past five years.
Anyone with information can call police on 08458 505505 or Crimestoppers on 0800 555111.
