I WOULD like to add to the comments made by Sylvia Vallis (January 19) regarding the John Radcliffe Hospital.
My mother Sandra Lloyd experienced a heart attack and the prompt and professional response undoubtedly saved her life.
I would like to thank all those involved – particularly those in A&E and Intensive Care, for their quick actions in saving her life.
The porters who helped my father when he arrived with my mother must also be complimented.
The hospital was clean to the highest standards on our visits and additionally the food must be praised.
The staff who we dealt with in ICU Cardiology were very reassuring and beyond fault.
The JR is a world class facility and we should feel extremely lucky to have such a resource at our disposal.
A heartfelt thanks to all involved in the life-saving actions that were taken when my mother needed your help on January 12. MONIQUE CHERRIE, Station Yard, Tiddington
