A SCHOOLGIRL responsible for her best friend’s death when she crashed her car is being sued by one of her passengers.
Grace Hadman, 17, a pupil at St Edward’s School, in Woodstock Road, Oxford, died from her injuries after Gabriella Edmondson lost control of her car and crashed on the A34 near Wytham in April 2009.
Back seat passenger Joe Robinson, 19, of Oxford Road, Thame, was critically injured and spent four weeks in a coma.
He is now suing Edmondson, of Penn, near High Wycombe, for more than £300,000.
She was jailed for 28 months in October 2009 after admitting causing Miss Hadman’s death by careless driving while over the drink-driving alcohol limit.
