WE were appalled to hear that dog fouling is causing such a problem for young footballers at Boxhill Recreation Ground in Abingdon (Oxford Mail, January 20) so we will send one of our environment wardens to investigate.
If there is a problem we will put notices around the park and chat to dog walkers to remind them of their responsibilities and the consequences of not clearing up dog mess, which includes a fine of up to £50 or prosecution.
