On a cold January morning, Ardington romped to victory in some style. From the outset they were on the front foot, and after a few minutes Joseph Flannagan ran through to score the opener. There were sevral other chances to go further ahead but it was 1-0 at half time.
Ardington started as bright as they had in the first half, and from corner Freddie Robson slotted home from close range. With confidence growing they grabbed a third when Flannagan was put through to chip it past the keeper. Flannagan went on to get his hat trick, before Alex Dawson put the cherry on the cake and scored to make the score 5-0.
