WE hear that David Chaytor has been sentenced to 18 months in prison for fiddling expenses and there’s another three or four who may end up in court.

But at the end of the day, these people are being made scapegoats for most of the people in Government The disc which brought about the expenses scandal covered four years, if it had covered 10 years and everyone who fiddled was treated properly, I’m afraid we wouldn’t have a government.

But why should some be allowed to get away with taxpayers’ money? After all, the taxpayers already pay them their exorbitant wages.
