James Allen, 27, of Luther Street, Oxford, admitted shoplifting meat valued at £64.41 from Sainsbury’s in Oxford on January 1. One other offence taken into consideration. Given a six-month conditional discharge.

Charlie Riley, 18, of Oxford Road, Oxford, admitted causing approximately £200 of criminal damage to a chair belonging to Oxfordshire County Council in Oxford on December 10. Given a six-month conditional discharge.

Leo Kenny, 35, of no fixed address, admitted shoplifting a bottle of soy sauce valued at £1.35 from Lung Waig Chinese Food Shop in Oxford on January 3. Fined £50, a £15 victims’ surcharge and £85 costs.

Michael Morgan, 65, of no fixed address, admitted shoplifting a bottle of wine and a smoked-ham sandwich valued at £7.59 from Marks & Spencer in Oxford on December 11 and failing to surrender to court bail on December 31. Fined £200 and a £15 victims’ surcharge.

Martin Newbold, 56, of Salesian Gardens, Oxford, admitted drink driving in Marsh Road, Oxford, on October 5. Namely having 61 micrograms of alcohol in 100ml of breath, above the legal limit of 35mg. Fined £405, a £15 victims’ surcharge and £400 costs. Banned from driving for four months.

Paul Wardel, 31, of Centre Rise, Horspath, admitted shoplifting £10 of flowers from Asda in Wheatley on September 7. Fined £120, a £15 victims’ surcharge, £10 compensation and £85 costs.

Ashley Eltham, 20, of South Bank Cottages, South Stoke, admitted failing to comply with the requirements of a community order by failing to attend unpaid work on November 28. Given a Saturday-night curfew for four Saturdays and told to pay £50 costs.

Laurence Brown, 30, of Sunningwell Road, Oxford, admitted failing to comply with the requirements of a community order by failing to remain at a curfew address on October 29, November 12, and December 17 and 18. Given an extra three weeks’ curfew.

Matthew Kinnaird, 26, of Paradise Street, Oxford, admitted failing to comply with the requirements of a community order by failing to attend a relapse-prevention group on November 30. Original offence, of shoplifting fragrances valued at £118.50 from Debenhams in Oxford on October 19, re-sentenced. Jailed for eight weeks.

Philip Newport, 22, of John Buchan Road, Oxford, admitted failing to comply with the requirements of a community order by failing to attend unpaid work on November 30. Given an extra eight weeks’ curfew.

Takudzwa Hunda, 24, of Casterbridge Road, Swindon, admitted drink driving in Earl Street, Oxford, on December 17. Namely having 41 micrograms of alcohol in 100ml of breath, above the legal limit of 35mg. Fined £330, £15 victims’ surcharge and £85 costs. Banned from driving for a year.

Agron Lala, 45, of Poplar Close, Kidlington, admitted drink driving in Banbury Road, Oxford, on December 17. Namely having 67 micrograms of alcohol in 100ml of breath, above the legal limit of 35mg. Fined £350, a £15 victims’ surcharge and £85 costs. Banned from driving for 18 months.

DIDCOT Alun O’Donoghue, 30, of Sherwood Avenue, Abingdon, convicted of criminal damage to the wing mirror of a Mazda 323 and the wing mirror of a Vauxhall Astra in Abingdon on July 31. Given an 18-month conditional discharge and told to pay £50 costs and £143.36 compensation.

Catherine Paintin, 29, of Welford Gardens, Abingdon, admitted drink driving in Welford Gardens on November 19. Namely having 85 miligrams of alcohol in 100ml of blood, above the legal limit of 80mg. Fined £100, £15 victims’ surcharge and £85 costs. Banned from driving for a year.

Mark Ball, 28, of Bowness Avenue, admitted possessing cannabis (Class B) in Didcot on December 18. Fined £165, £15 victims’ surcharge and £80 costs.

Colin Carter, 67, of Wilson Avenue, Henley-on-Thames, admitted driving while disqualified and without insurance in Broadway, Didcot, on December 16. Given a 12-week curfew, told to pay £80 costs and banned from driving for four months.

Daryl Hutt, 21, of Marlborough Gardens, Faringdon, admitted possession of 48.35g of cannabis with intent to supply in Faringdon on August 20. Given a six-week jail term, suspended for six months “because he was supplying a Class B drug in the presence of minors”. Also given a three-month curfew and six months’ supervision. Told to pay £50 costs.
