The River Thames has been placed on flood alert.
The alert - the lowest level issued by the Environment Agency - covers the river and its tributaries from Buscot Wick down to Kings Lock, above Oxford, including Buscot, Kelmscott, Radcot, Chimney, Northmoor, Stanton Harcourt, Bablockhythe and caravan park, Eynsham, Swinford and Yarnton.
The agency said the river levels were slowly rising in response to the recent rainfall.
The river was expected to spill into the floodplain in the Rushey Lock area. No property flooding is expected.
An agency spokesman said today should be a mostly dry day with the chance of an odd shower.
Other rivers already on flood alert in the county are the River Ock and Letcombe Brook, River Thame and Chalgrove Brook, the River Ray in north Oxfordshire and the Langford and Wendlebury brooks.
