TWO holidaymakers from Witney are among a group of people who are suing a tour operator after they were taken ill on holiday in Turkey.
A writ at London’s High Court claimed their holidays were ruined when they came down with salmonella and other gastro-intestinal diseases after staying at the Sarigerme Holiday Village in Dalaman, in 2009.
Paul and Jane Mason, aged 50 and 48, of Raleigh Crescent, Witney, are among 107 people suing First Choice Holidays and Flights.
The writ said the company had already accepted liability for negligence of its “suppliers”.
The total damages could top £1m if the case is successful.
