Non-urgent operations remained suspended at the Horton Hospital, Banbury, tonight.
Operations were cancelled last week at the Horton, and the John Radcliffe and Churchill hospitals in Oxford, because of a jump in A&E patients and ‘bed blocking’ by patients waiting to be moved on to care homes and community hospitals.
Operations at the Oxford hospital are now running normally, despite both being ‘very busy’.
