Headington overcame Botley 5-1 at Romanway this morning. Tyrhys Lukonyomoi gave Headington the lead on 7 mins. Headington held the upper hand for the first half adding goals from Liam Costar on 22 mins and Anthony Diaz scored his first ever league goal on 24 following a great passing move. 3-0 half time to Headington.
The second half saw plenty of chances at either end, Tyrhys Lukonyomoi (37 mins) got a 4th (and second for himself) to put Sharks 4-0 up. Charlie Burton (51 mins) latched on to a long kick to give Botley a glimmer of hope before Headington were awarded a penalty on 55 mins, Toby Gibb got his first of the season from the spot for a final 5-1 result.
