WE are happy to help Thames Valley Police with their mission to catch as many of the county’s most wanted as they can this month with our Badvent calendar.
But it is a concern that they let suspected car thief Peter Gaughan hobble out of their clutches.
Car owner Majeed Quraishi says he was told it was because police could no longer afford to have officers guarding Gaughan’s hospital bed.
Finances might be tough but it will be a false economy to spend more recapturing him.
