A CYCLIST has been killed on the A34 in Oxford tonight, leading to long delays.
The cyclist was in collision with a vehicle shortly before 7pm, South Central Ambulance Service said.
They were declared dead at the scene.
The southbound carriageway is closed between the Peartree and Botley interchanges.
The Highways Agency has said the road is not expected to re-open until 2am on Wednesday.
Police are investigating.
