IT is a fact of life that we are continually bombarded by images of beautiful people.

You can’t turn on the TV, watch a film or open a magazine without being confonted by some gorgeous human being – usually compelling us to buy some product we neither want nor need.

However easy on the eye these models are, their perfect form is usually in sharp contrast to our own bodies.

So we salute the organisers of Oxford Fashion Week who, in their search for models, are throwing open their doors to all aspiring fashionistas – whatever their shape and size.

Who knows, it could be the start of a new career on the catwalk.
