YOUNG actors got a taste of Hollywood when they attended their own movie premiere.
After arriving at Oxford’s Phoenix Picture House by limo, the youngsters were greeted by cheering fans and even the paparazzi – including the Oxford Mail.
The children, from across Oxfordshire, then watched two horror films in which they have starred, on the cinema’s big screen. The starlets had taken part in a project which lets children write, design and star in short films, giving them a taste of how it is done by the professionals.
The scheme was run by Oxford-based Youngstar Productions.
Speaking after Thursday’e premiere, Youngstar owner Louisa Hart said: “They all had a brilliant time and really enjoyed themselves. We organise for fans and the ‘paparazzi’ to meet them from their limos so they can really get a feel of what is like to be a movie star.”
Auditions for Youngstar’s next film take place at South Oxford Community Centre on Saturday, November 6. To confirm a place email info@youngstar.tv
