Jon Jukes hit a maximum, but could not prevent Cowley Community Centre C losing 5-4 to their B team in a thrilling all-Premier clash.

Jukes's 180 helped him to beat Peter Rouse.

The B team hit back when Percy Brain, Nick Cobb, and Ray Prior all won as they took a 3-1 lead.

Terry Sapey (180) beat Steve Willoughby (pictured) to reduce the gap to 3-2, but the B side restored their lead by winning the last singles.

They clinched the win despite losing the pairs 2-1.

Railway Social Club A put daylight between themselves and the rest as they crushed Premier side Angel Bicester 8-1.

College Oak scored their second win of the season when they defeated the visiting Shelley Arms C 5-4.

The contest was decided when Tony Allday won the final leg of his singles in 12 darts (85-180-40-96).

Shelley Arms A took second spot after a fine win over the visiting Nuffield Arms A.

The visitors started well when wins from Brian Lemke (180) and Barry Wells gave them a 2-0 lead.

Shelley hit back and wins from Simon Powell, Des Brackett, Ally Walls and Micky Juste gave them a 4-2 lead, and a 2-1 pairs win gave them a fine 6-3 success.

Section 5's top-of-the-table clash saw leaders Bullnose Morris A entertain second-placed Masons Arms B.

Nuffield Bar moved into a tie for first place in Ladies Section 3, with a 6-3 victory at Peachcroft Social Club.

Joint leaders of Section 4, Berinsfield Community Centre A, and Florence Park CC B both had impressive wins, Berinsfield winning 6-3 at Golden Ball and Florence Park triumphing over the visiting Six Bells B.

Folly Bride Inn have opened up a four-point lead at the top of Section 5 with an 8-1 victory.
