OXFORDSHIRE schools have seen the biggest jump in GCSE results in recent years, with a four per cent improvement on last year’s figures.
Results released by the Government yesterday showed an increase in pupils gaining five or more GCSE passes at grades A* to C, including English and maths, this year.
A total of 56.9 per cent of pupils gained five A*-C GCSEs in Oxfordshire, compared with 54.9 per cent nationally.
