Following the story in Monday’s Oxford Mail, regarding delivery of the blue wheelie bins, we decided to telephone Oxford City Council to find out why we had not received ours.
We were told we were not on the list, and wouldn’t be getting one.
We were asked if we had bought one, and told we could always put our recycling into black plastic bags.
Well, If I am not on the list, perhaps the council will not mind if the recycling rate from our house is zero per cent.
