I AM grateful to the burglar who raided our house earlier this month, while we were on our way to a 60th birthday celebration, for not making a huge mess indoors.
I would be even more grateful if he could see his way to returning the jewellery, smokes and essential medication he took.
The jewellery may have some cash value to him, but it is of even greater sentimental value to me.
The alarm is now fixed!
