PUPILS at an Oxford school raised £1,000 for victims of the Pakistan flood disaster.
St Christopher’s School, in Temple Road, Cowley, where many families have relatives who were affected by the flooding disaster, held a fundraising food sale. Bi-lingual coordinator Ishrit Ahmed praised parents’ generosity.
“It was amazing,” he said.
More than 1,800 people are believed to have been killed by the widespread floods, with another 20 million affected.
