A SERIAL burglar who began offending at the age of 11 has been jailed for a series of break-ins at pubs.
Danny Rayson was sentenced at Oxford Crown Court yesterday, after earlier admitting four charges of burglary.
He also asked for five more crimes to be taken into consideration.
Henry James, prosecuting, said Rayson, 20, of Skimmingdish Lane, Bicester, was involved in stealing cash from the Acorn pub in the town on March 6 and again on March 15.
Rayson also stole cash from the Harvester and Flava Cafe, both in Kidlington, on March 25.
Rayson, who has 18 convictions for 27 offences dating back to 2002, was jailed for 24 weeks in April for another burglary and released in July.
Tim Boswell, defending, said his client had since reduced his addiction to skunk cannabis, which had brought about his offending.
Recorder Richard Hamlin sentenced Rayson to 10 months’ youth custody.
