Chris Halford again accuses me of being anti-Israeli because I dislike how that country deals with its neighbours (Oxford Mail, October 15).

Am I anti-American because I dislike the US neo-cons, or anti-British because I dislike Tony Blair and his war crimes?

I’ve marched with many Jews on pro-Palestinian demonstrations – with Jews outnumbering Zionists in a counter demonstration, by hundreds.

Members of Jews For Justice are just some of the people I would gladly call friends.

I also checked on the definition of “killing with impunity”. Ask the families of Tom Hurndall, James Miller or Rachael Corrie, all westerners murdered by the Israelis. And what about 13 year-old Iman al-Mams, who was shot recently and found riddled with Israeli bullets – 17 in all, with three shot into her little head from close range?

Who can forget the distressing TV pictures of a father holding his son, both of them shot several times by the Israelis? I could cite hundreds of examples.

My definition of “killing with impunity”, is absolutely on the money. I’m not interested in any of his supporters who believe his inference that an activist who is “left-wing” must therefore be exaggerating, or lying.

Survivors on the Mavi Marmara included an Israeli Knesset member and two members of the German Bundestag.

I did indeed research and check both my letters, with autopsy reports which are available for anyone bothered to look and numerous quotes from the United Nations regarding the dreadful murderous behaviour of the Israeli commandoes.

I thank Mr Halford for continuing this debate in these pages, something the Israeli government won’t be so keen on.

People can see through this propaganda though; the facts speak volumes.

If Mr Halford wants to research my comment, on the “ethnic cleansing of Palestine” I can refer him to Israeli historian Ilan Pappe, who wrote the book of the same title.
