After a defeat to Garsington last week, Ardington & Lockinge bounced back in a 4-1 win away to Quarry. From the first whistle they were on the attack, and in the first minute Callum Betts fired in a cross-come-shot that went straight through into the corner of the net. Growing in confidence Betts netted a second, hard to believe that this was a team struggling for form. Freddie Robson and Alex Dawson added two more to make it 4-0 at half time.
In the second half Quarry looked to come back into it, and they got one back early in the second half. They continued to push forward and put up a spirited performance looking to make up for their first half display. They hit the bar, and Tommy Rees made a fantastic one on one save as Ardington hung on for a deserved win.
