Police today appealed for witnesses to a fatal collision on the A44 near Begbrooke.
Shortly after 2.45am, a blue Vauxhall Astra was in collision with a pedestrian on the A44 near to the Langford Lane traffic lights, close to London Oxford Airport.
The pedestrian, a 23-year-old man from Begbroke, was declared dead at the scene.
Anyone who witnessed the collision, or saw the pedestrian or vehicle prior to the incident, is asked to contact Sgt Peter Jell at the Road Death Investigation Unit at Bicester on 0845 8 505 505, or via Crimestoppers on 0800 555 111.
