A 23-year-old man died in a road accident near Begbroke early today.
The man, from Begbroke, died when he was hit by a blue Vauxhall Astra shortly before 3am.
The incident happened at the junction of the A44 Oxford Road with Langford Lane.
The A44 was closed until 8.30am while police carried out an investigation.
