E-mail has become one of the most important tools of communication for businesses.
And instant messaging is also becoming an easy way of spreading information among companies.
But there can be security tasks attached to both.
In a free breakfast seminar, Oxford-based information security specialists Ovidium, have teamed up with web designers Zantaz, to explore the issue of message management.
Industry experts, including Harry Sabet (pictured) a co-founder of Ovidium, will look at how lost' e-mail can be retrieved by IT staff and can comply with legislation on data protection.
There will also be advice on assessing a risk management strategy within company communications.
The seminar, Eliminating the Costs of E-Mail Management is at the Magdalen Centre, Robert Robinson Avenue, Oxford Science Park, Oxford OX4 4GA, on July 26, from 8.30-11.30am.
