DAVE Freeman's maiden century helped Great & Little Tew 2nd overtake Bourton Vale 2nd and go top with a five-wicket home win in Division 6.

Freeman hit 106 and Jack Taylor 31 as Tew made 253-5 in reply to Bourton's 252 all out.

Mat Walton (104) and Paul Berry (77) led the way for Bourton, while Taylor took 4-98 and Mike Darby 3-46.

Jack Bromhead's 6-74 saw Bledlow Ridge 2nd edge out Oxford 3rd by 47 runs.

Chasing 270 to win, Oxford were dismissed for 222, despite good knocks from Edward Baldock (64,) Miles Picknett (53) and Ian Pickford (38).

Henry Hale top-scored for Bledlow with 69 not out as they reached 269-4.

Kidlington romped home with Owen (74no), John Kitson (62) and Andrew Oliver (57) all excelling.
