LEADERS Horspath got back to winning ways at home to Cropredy but were given an almighty scare in Division 3.

Ben Cook took 5-50 and Ben Thompson 4-23 as Cropredy were reduced to 151.

But despite 37 from Robbie Eason, Horspath could only limp past the target on 155-7.

The father and son opening partnership of Aftab and Shabaz Alam starred again as Morris Motors Exiles beat Oxford & Bletchingdon Nondescripts by eight wickets.

Aftab hit 86 and Shahbaz 33 in a 110-run stand as their side comfortably passed their target.

Nondies were bowled out for 162, Irfan Shah claiming 5-36.

Chas Taylor hit an unbeaten 65 as Sandford St Martin beat Cumnor 2nd by nine wickets.

Cumnor were bowled out for 114, only Peter Burt (33) and Ian Belcher (31) getting going.

Taylor then eased Sandford home.

Wolverton remain bottom after falling to a five-wicket defeat at Hanborough.

After being asked to bat, Wolverton were quite happy with 232-9, Matt Busby taking 5-66.

Rob Lovick (88), Neil Rose (56no) and Mike Dove (31) ten steered the hosts to victory with four overs remaining.

Kimble jumped from second-bottom to fifth with a 33-run win over Dinton 2nd.

After setting a target of 224-7, Kimble shot out their hosts for 191, despite Shaun Smith's unbeaten 54.
