A THRILLING game at Kingston Bagpuize saw the home side end with the scores level against Leighton Buzzard Town in Division 2.

After choosing to bat first, Bagpuize racked up 233-7 with South African Mo Seedat smashing a superb 117.

Seedat hit 16 fours and one six in his century, and with Dominic Pike chipping in with 31, the hosts set an imposing target.

Having lost an early wicket, Buzzard enjoyed an 86-run stand for the second wicket between Tom Scott (89) and Rob Ferguson (38).

Seedat (4-47) and Dick Giles (3-122) then pegged them back.

With one over remaining, Buzzard needed 13 for victory with one wicket left.

But No 9 Antony Francis set about Giles, smashing 12 off the first five balls.

Francis charged the final ball and missed, but Bagpuize's stumping appeal was turned down to leave the visitors on 233-9.
